Some time ago, NBC hired that portentous-voiced movie preview voiceover guy to do their promos.
He gets on my nerves. Not every freakin’ show needs to be made to sound as though it is the. most. dramatic. episode. ever.
Could we please have some more normal sounding announcer – please?

I’ll sign that petition! That guy has become more and more annoying. The prime example is the promos for “Who Wants to Marry My Dad?” with dad being said with a drawn out dramatic sad tone as if to make you think that “Daaaaaad” will die a sad lonely death if his kids can’t find him a woman.
Don’t hold your breath. The guy who does the voice over intros for the NBC Today Show is dead.
