He was a tall, Ken doll-looking guy wearing a black sports jacket. He stood at the mic singing background vocals next to Bruce Springsteen during the song “Under the Boardwalk.”
Who was that guy?

“Fallon gamely led an all-star performance of “Under the Boardwalk” that featured Joel, Springsteen and Steven Tyler.”
Jimmy Fallon’s the only one nearly young enough to even remotely resemble a Ken doll.
Nope, it was not Fallon.
Fallon and Tyler had the lead vocals and stood together at the front mic. Billy Joel was on piano and sang some background vocals. Springsteen and Ken Doll Guy were standing at a mic together (behind Fallon and Tyler) singing background vocals while Bruce played guitar.
Ken Doll Guy was saxophone player Mark Rivera.
Yup. That’s him. Thanks.
Thanks! All I could think was “Huey Lewis is from the Bay Area, if, in fact, he’s still alive.”
Wow. He needs to back off the tanning.
Slight Hijack question:
Was the “telethon” only one hour long?
Yeah, it was, sadly. I could have watched it for two, or even three hours. It was awesome that they could pull it together in just a few short days.
I guess that’s why, when my power returned at 9:30, I had missed it.
For those who missed it and subscribe to Comcast, I noticed it is on On Demand.
Missed the edit window.
Never mind. There are other hurricane related programs, but not the telethon.
