Good news. Da’Sean Butler’s knee injury is just a sprain. I’m glad, because that little episode sort of cast a pall over the game.

Very close to Navy, but different (Duke Blue is a little more gray) for reasons explained in the article. Royal Blue looks too close to Carolina for me, and the further from that the better. (God made the sky that color so we wouldn’t have to step in it.)

As explained in the article, Duke Blue is “darker than royal, lighter than navy.”
What you have there does not look any lighter than navy. It looks like navy with some gray added.
Carolina blue is what notfrommensa was using (to my eyes).
ETA: Actually, the Straight Dope header looks pretty close to Duke Blue to me.
Colors Schmulers. We are missing the point. Going into this tournament, the ACC (Duke in particular) was being ‘dissed’ by the all the Big East supporters. and yet, the Big East is once again absent from the NCAA championship game.
Well damn. West Virginia now says Da’Sean Butler tore his ACL, sprained his MCL and has two bone bruises in his knee.
I really hate that.
I don’t know if anyone saw the women’s semi yesterday, Baylor and U Conn, but I must say it’s been a long time since I’ve seen any team in any league or sport that looks quite as dominant, as invincible as the Huskies. Maya Moore and Tina Charles are as good as you can get. 77 victories in a row now, their last loss 104 weeks ago against Stanford in the championship game. Next, that rematch.

While I"m on old ACC fanatic, Butler did a superb job. It could have gone either way. They are a super team Duke just beat 'em on this night.

Always happy to see an VA/NC/MA area Team win it- Good job Duke. Ya done well. Though if that last shot had been made- that would have been AMAZING.
They had 2 shots at the end and missed them both. The Butler almost did it.

What kind of world do we live in where either of those shots don’t go in?
I managed to score a ticket for the game, my first Final Four game I’ve been to. What an amazing first game! The seats weren’t more than 6000 feet away, which was nice. Other than the set-aside Duke section, there were very few non-Butler fans. With a crowd of 72,000 people, I have to wonder if it was the largest crowd rooting for the same basketball team ever assembled.
It would have effectively ended any future replays of the one by Christian Laettner.
