Oh hell, a few bit parts won’t hurt anything, but her character had to do some heavy lifting for this epi, and she failed. She just didn’t have the acting skill to carry off such a major part.

I just learned off Wikipedia that the actor playing McGee is Bellisario’s stepson. I wonder if Bellisario has any other relatives waiting in the wings.

Thanks, that’s all I wanted to know–'cause they sure didn’t look alike on my TV, but I was sure that wasn’t a good way to find out.

And it wasn’t that I expected them to look a lot alike neccessarily, just maybe more so than they seemed to on my screen.

Relative or not, I do buy McGee as the geeky federal agent.
What’s more troubling is how he can afford a brand new Porsche convertible on a federal salary. [snark]Or maybe that’s from the royalties of his writing…[/]

The car’s from his writing, I suppose. Funny that DiNozzo hadn’t noticed something was odd when he bought it on an NCIS agent’s pay (that I remember him ever mentioning, though I could be wrong), or else he figured McGee blew his savings on the car and thus could not afford a Harley.

By the way, what makes people think this show has jumped the shark? It was never all that good to begin with but I don’t think it’s gotten any worse, and Cote DePablo can just exist and justify the show’s existence. Hell, she justify’s television’s existence.

No shark in sight, as far as I’m concerned – this show has always been about preposterous implausibilities.

And Mark Harmon’s serious yumminess.

Remember the redhead in the hot car that would pick up Gibbs?
Bellisario’s wife.
