Neatest products I've found lately

Urad leather color, for repairing scuffs on good leather items like Coach purses. I got a tub of this from the local shoe repair shop, but you can also get it online (although the shipping cost is apalling). Not a shoe polish, it doesn’t rub off, doesn’t flake off, doesn’t come off with water.

Krill lights: replaces chemical light sticks, runs about 50 hours on a set of AA batteries, perfect for camping, power outages. This company also sells some of the neatest stuff, like the "xenoline ", an apply-anywhere electroluminescence product. And EL shirts! And hats! Though I’ve never bought those, I think I want to someday…

From CafePress: the two Cats Laughing albums, the first (and previously out of print) album by the Flash Girls, and the ‘Eddi and the Fae’ t-shirt. I’ve been wanting the shirt ever since I first read War for the Oaks by Emma Bull, about 15 years ago. Science Fiction aficionados may recognise members of and writers for Cats Laughing: Emma Bull, Steven Shetterly, Neil Gaiman, and Adam Stemple.

And my iPod. I love my iPod.

Nice! For a list of other cool-and-geeky stuff, take a gander at Core77’s gift guide from Christmas 2006: 77 gifts for under $77.
