I’ve been having pain in my left shoulder for the past year now and within the last three months or so it has gotten to where the pain is damn near unbearable.
It hurts along my shoulder blade a bit in my chest down my arm to where the middle fingers feel like they are pulling and more often now up my neck to the back of my head causing a dull headache.
I went in and had an MRI yesterday and the results will be back in 48 hrs.
But I’m getting worried. I had a disk replacement two years ago in my lower back and now I think I have a bad disk in my neck. What do they do if they all start going bad?
As the guy was getting me untangled from the MRI table he asked me if I had been in any accidents within the last year. I figured that question would have been covered in the check-in process so it bothers me he asked after watching my test.
I tried to look up degenerative disk disease and I read things on cervical or lumbar issues but what about the spine as a whole?
Also I when I was in to my doctor I told her that I’ve been having a hard time breathing. That it hurts on the bottom left side of my ribcage but more inside.
She listened and said it’s plurisy.
I had plurisy after I quit smoking four years ago and I’ve had it twice within the last year. It hurts a bit on the right side now as well.
Why does it keep coming back?! I’ve not had a cold recently.
I just in general feel like crap. I hurt all of the time and I’m not sleeping well because of the pain and the worries.
At least I’ve gotten to know a few of the night owls here.
