I am looking for a front cover scan of a 1973 publication of Parent’s Magazine. I am not sure of the month, but believe it to be around January - April of that year. The cover features two children; one kneeling on the floor and the other laying back to back on the first child.
Anyone have an idea how to locate a back issue so old? So far, I have only been able to go back a couple of years.
Most of the online libraries require a username and barcode to get microfiche info. I dont have that
Unless someone up and comes out with a link, I’d suggest hitting your own library: ours has loads of back issues of all kinds of magazines, and on top of that, public libraries often have subscriptions to many of those online libraries.
You can find back issues from a bizarrely diverse range of publications on eBay. You can limit your search to the “Magazines & Catalogs” category so that you don’t pull up thousands of items: I just searched in that category for “Parent*” and pulled up 42 items, including back issues of Parents’ from the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s. By the way, there is a Parents’ magazine and a Parenting magazine, but no Parent’s magazine–although one eBay listing also misspelled the title, so I suggest searching using a wildcard character. I did not see the issue that you are looking for but, if you keep looking, it may eventually turn up.
