i want to enable POP mail (gmail) on Lotus Notes.
this is a work computer so i’m a bit reluctant to call IT (even though they probably don’t give a crap anyway).
much thanks!

BTW, this is what gmail says about configuring it. Lotus Notes wasn’t listed, so i had to default to “Other.”
Incoming Mail (POP3) Server – requires SSL: pop.gmail.com
Use SSL: Yes
Port: 995
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server – requires TLS: smtp.gmail.com (use authentication)
Use Authentication: Yes
Use STARTTLS: Yes (some clients call this SSL)
Port: 465 or 587
Account Name: your Gmail username (including ‘@gmail.com’)
Email Address: your full Gmail email address (username@gmail.com)
Password: your Gmail password
I’m not sure what version of Lotus Notes you’re running, but assuming it’s Notes 6.X, go to the File menu and choose Preferences\Client Reconfiguration Wizard…
Put a checkmark in the “Internet mail servers” box, and the wizard will take you the rest of the way.
