Need Help Tracking Down A Reggae Song With Not Much To Go On

About 2 years ago, I downloaded a snippet of a song off Kazaa or Limewire or something, and have been looking for it again ever since.

It is a very grimey sounding reggae song, and the singer sounded a lot like Bounty Killer. The version I had was only a minute or so long, and could have been a live recording. As such, most of the lyrics were unintelligible, but the chorus seemed to be “War Dem Want, duh duh duh, duh duh duh” wherein the “duh’s” are indiscernible syllables.

If anyone out the can help me find this song, through preferably legitimate means, I would be forever in your debt.*
*SuntanTigerTamer will not be in your debt in any way other than figuratively speaking, and only then until he gets sick of the song again.

Can’t watch at work, but is this it?

Try Confrontation by Damien Marley

Nope, neither of these, however Confrontation is wonderful and will be going on teh Pod.

The song I’m looking for is much more in the current grimey dancehall style as opposed to the more traditional style of Sigmagirl’s link.

I will also be EXTREMELY surprised if the artist is not Bounty Killer or TOK. I know, not much to go on, but I dont know where else to go.

Is it War Dem Want by Bounty Killer?

Maybe? :stuck_out_tongue:

That might be a bit too easy don’t you think? Besides, even if it were (which its not, unless I heard a remixed live version) there is no way I would admit it :stuck_out_tongue:

chuckle I figured it was worth a shot. Outside of that, I got nuthin’. I’ll run your question by my husband when he gets home, who is more of a reggae fan than I am.
