It seems that vbulletin message boards and my computer dont like each other…
For about a month now whenever I log on to Sdmb or some other VB message board I can hardly ever scroll down and when I try to write text it take like ten seconds for a letter to appear.
I tried a virus scan and that checked out fine.
I also ran a spyware scan. a-okay.
So is it a problem with my comp. or on your side?
I only have this problem with Vb.
Would love some help.

A couple of useful hints:
Some versions of Windows/MSIE take an inordinate length of time to enter typed material in the reply screen. Be sure you have the newest release and patches for your versions of the operating system and MSIE, if that’s what you’re using. It is related to the use of vBB, but seems to be an artefact of the particular OS/Web reader program taking input text for vBB, not of the vBB software itself. (I experienced the problem a while ago, and upgraded both my Windows 2000 Professional OS and my MSIE, with the problem being partially alleviated as a result. I’ve seen several others report the same problem.)
Compose responses in Notepad, Wordpad, MS Word, or other word/text processing program, cut and paste into reply window. (This is also advantageous when the system is being slow – if you get a DNS screen or otherwise time out, you have the text on hand for later use, instead of having possibly lost it.)
Do you by any chance use BellSouth.net as your ISP? Several people who have reported this problem (including myself) use them; apparently the particular MSIE release they distribute is one of the ones that’s noticeably slow.
I think I got the problem fixed…
A friend of mine at work told me about a different type of spyware to use,so I tried it and it seemed to work.
