Need Med School Graduation gift idea

A very dear friend of mine graduates from Med School next month. I’m stumped for ideas. He already has a really nice stethoscope, given to him by a doctor mentor when he entered med school. I’m broke these days, but I’d be willing to spend up to $100

Any thoughts, especially from you doctors? He’s going into pediatrics. As a joke, I thought of buying him a big bag of those little clippy stuffed animals that I swear 98% of pediatricians wear on their stethoscopes. But that’s not very meaningful. I’d rather get him a nice gift and then just one of those stupid clip-on animals.

My sister is a doctor. Upon her graduation, I gave her a book of medically-themed cartoons. Don’t remember the name, though.

How about a few cases of Jolt cola? He’s gonna need a whole lotta caffeine.

In all seriousness - a check for $100 is probably one of the best gifts you could give, maybe in a coffee cup for fun.

When my husband graduated from medical school, we had to move and so on and so forth. Money is always appreciated.
