Title pretty much says it all. I didn’t see any specific prohibition in the rules lists. Basically, I want to offer a finder’s fee to anyone who can provide a link, postal address or other reference to any source of a near-impossible to obtain/ nonexistent item I wish to acquire. My own researches have come up utterly empty, so I am certain this would not be trivially easy to locate.
I’ve found that e-mailing **TubaDiva **works great for questions like this.
Heck, there are posters here who do this for free every day. I truly don’t think the money aspect will get you any better results. Why not just post away?
Most Dopers would be glad to do this just for bragging rights.
I’d betcha even odds that some Doper has the item.
I can get if for you wholesale.
14 k of g in a f p d?
Sigh.
I’d shell out $20 to know too.
I have one that I’m willing to part with. Just remember not to get it wet, and no food after midnight.
Fair enough, although now I am curious as to the board policy on any “Will pay for…” posts.
Psst. E-mail TubaDiva. It really works.
Yes, please email TubaDiva, with specifics. We can’t give a blanket OK for such, depends on individual circs.
I’ve got two in stock. One is new old stock, the other is used good condition. Which do you want?
I’m surprised to see Lumpy here. I thought that he was the eighth dwarf, the one who died of cancer.
What does the state of one’s…umm “appendage” have to do with it? Does this mean girls are automaticly in, or out…
[sub][“circ” is the verbal abreviation for circumcision][/sub]
Only in Seattle. In English, when plural, it’s an abbrev for “circumstances”
I thought it meant circumferences. In which case, his anatomy is, shall we say, different…
Yes, you can post your thread asking for help – and offering a finder’s fee.
Please mention early in the thread that permission was asked for and received in advance.
I’ll let the other mods know about this as well in case they don’t see this thread.
If you are in doubt as to the fitness of a subject for the board you are always better off asking permission in advance – much better to ask for permission than forgiveness.
We prefer to handle these requests via email. TubaDiva@aol.com.
Thanks.
Okay, Lumpy, where did you put the thread? I can’t see spot it in MPSIMS
Nope, all over the country, but maybe just in pediatric circles. (I worked as a traveler for several years.)
