Need new dressing for pasta salad.

You got any good ones?

I’ve tried the mayo/mustard/pickle juice variants. And, of course, the ever popular salad dressings.

I’m kind of bored with them. But I love different kinds of pasta salad and find it’s very handy to keep in the fridge.

What’s your favorite?

For just a basic throw-together pasta salad, we use Girard’s Greek Feta dressing (comes in a triangular bottle.) Gives the salad a bit of a twist.

I use the liquid from a jar of marinated artichoke hearts, along with said artichoke hearts. Black olives, tomatoes.

This is easy and very good.

-1 8-oz. can tomato sauce (sometimes I use the bigger size can and just add a little more of everything)
-2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
-1 tbsp. red wine vinegar
-1 tsp. black pepper
-1 tsp. fresh or jarred minced basil
-1 tsp. fresh or jarred minced oregano
-1/2 tsp. minced garlic

Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl.
