Need suggestion for MEN'S fashion book

Have a friend who’s the geek archetype. For years wore nothing but sarcastic tshirts and shapeless clothing.

Recently he’s started turning his life around, getting in shape, starting to care about his appearance, that sort of thing.

Unfortunately he’s still needing help in the style dept.
So for christmas I thought I’d send him a good book on how to look his best. Unfortunately I have no idea what to send.

Any suggestions? Can’t be anything too trendy - ideally looking for something that teaches more classic styles (he does NOT fit the current slim, almost effeminate trend - think more towards the 'bear" type).

Thanks in advance.

My first thought was perhaps something from “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy”; it looks like they have a book but it’s not just fashion. Oh, here’s fashion only by their Fashion Guy, Carson Kressley.

I wonder if GQ or something has a similar book available?

Real Men™ don’t need a book to tell them how to dress.

But ex geeks do.

Thanks! I think this is exactly what I need. Sending both now. I appreciate it!
