I can’t remember the name of the series and it surprisingly isn’t googling up. It is a kid’s show about reading where in the opening credits there are clamation frogs. One frog is hopping around passing out books to other frogs while saying “readit”, until he reaches one frog that says “wroteit”.

No, that’s not it. This was a “Reading Rainbow” type show to promote reading. What I’m describing was the title sequence for each episode.
