Ok, here’s the story. There’s been a sweet little black and gray tabby tom chilling around my house for a few weeks. He was so nice that he let one of my friend’s babies hug him and pull out his fur. I would have adopted him right on the spot, but my cat would not have been pleased. One cat is enough in this household.
But on with the story!
If anyone on this board is within a few hours of Dubuque, IA, and needs a sweet, wonderful new kitty in their house–Tell me! I’ll see what I can do to get you this little angel!
Oh, good luck with him. Is he fixed? I have trapped & fixed a number of feral cats in my neighborhood (in cahoots with a neighbor.) Perhaps he belongs to someone if he’s so friendly.

He’s not fixed, he’s pretty skinny, his coat is rough, his paws are infected…I don’t think he’s owned. He really reminds me of my kitty when we found him 12 years ago. He was so sweet we couldn’t believe someone had abandoned him. When we took him in we found out he had a UTI. That’s probably why he was abandoned. Later on we had him x-rayed, and found out he had been shot with bb’s and still had one in his leg. Some people can be so cruel.
Little Bird, Zene111 is just showing off what passes for his sense of “humor”. Did you read his thread that wonders why he and his friends can’t find a “good” woman, when they are all such fine specimens? Now I think we know.
Wish I could take the kitty but I’m not close enough. I just one of my cats, Road Warrior to the vet today, and he was not amused when the vet had to retrieve a stool sample. Kepp us updated on your quest. I’m sending an email as well.
