Needed: Science Fiction and Fantasy Quotes

For a project I’m looking for some good quotes from various authors of SF and Fantasy. Can you fine people help me remember them? Give me the classics, people.

Examples:

“You see, I had this space suit.”

“He says his name is Ruth!”

“History will call us wives.”

“My God. It’s full of stars.”

If for a wall mural in my office. It will be accompanied by some classic style artwork and such.

Why? To quote XKCD: Because I’m the adult now and I get to say what that means.

overhead, without any fuss, the stars were going out

Girion Lord of Dale is dead and I have eaten his people like a wolf among sheep, and where are his son’s son’s that dare approach me ? I kill where I wish and none dare resist. I laid low the warriors of old and their like is not in the world today. Then I was but young and tender. Now I am old and strong, strong, STRONG ! Thief in the Shadows. “The powers that I may wield are vaster than those of many gods that humans have worshiped. There is not a man I meet but I could take his life. “This planet has - or rather had - a problem, which was this: most of the people living on it were unhappy for pretty much of the time. I’m the thing that monsters have nightmares about. And right now you and me are gonna show 'em why. It’s time. Welcome to Thunderdome.” Buffy the Vampire Slayer
