Needing some info on this Troy Aikman goldleafed card...

I’m not sure if this is the place to ask this but I need help finding some info on a Troy Aikman collectible card.

It’s got gold lettering on the picture side, his name, and it’s got “Aurora 2000” in gold, as well. One side has a close-up of his face with a small inserted pic of him about to throw the ball in the upper right hand corner (blue background), the other side has his stats for his '99 career and a series number of the card (#38) in a small white circle in the bottom left corner. I need any info about there is and how much it may be worth (possible eBay item). Thanks in advance and Mods, feel free to move this if I chose the wrong place.

It’s probably not worth a lot. Pacific cards tended to suck back when I collected, 10 or so years ago. Pick up a Beckett’s Football or Tuff Stuff price guide magazine(you can find them at your local newsstand or book store, most likely.) Hell, you don’t even have to buy the magazine, just stand there and leaf through it. The price listed is for an absolutely perfect card. In my experience, card dealers will give you only half of “book value” and won’t even bother with it if it’s a “common”. And card values vary greatly from one place to another. For example, an Aikman card may get you $5 in or around Dallas, but only $3 in Philly or NYC, since the Iggles and Jints are rivals of the Cowboys. What fan wants to pay alot for a rival’s card?

Good luck.

I just need exact info for when I post this card on eBay. I like to have stats on my items, you know? How should I list the dang thing? I don’t know anything about sports and collectible cards. I always use pics, though… always. I just don’t know where and how to list this item. Ugh.
