My mom died tonight at about 9:30PM. The nursing home staff found her unresponsive and took her directly to the emergency room, where after 15 minutes of trying to revive her, I told them to stop.
She was 88 years old. Graveside services will be set for later this week in Ogden.
Rest, sweet lady. You earned it. Love you, Mom.

It must have been nice to have a son to speak so gently about you. I always wanted a son.

88 sounds like plenty of time to have a good, fulfilling life. Even so, it can be hard to say goodbye to someone you love. I’m sorry for your loss.
