My first thought was that being brought up in an environment of violent rhetoric which encourages the treatment of other people as sub-human scum is not likely to inculcate a respect for human life in a child. Add a nasty custody battle during the formative years and you’ve got one messed-up kid even if there was no actual abuse. For all we know the father told the kid he couldn’t have any dessert because he hadn’t cleaned his room and the kid decided that this was an appropriate response.
It’s horrible all around.

Sure being a Neo-Nazi makes the guy an idiot but I doubt his politics were the cause of this. His son was ten years old - whatever reasons he had for killing his father must have been personal not ideological.
So we have a man who’s dead and a boy who’s scarred for life. I can’t feel the glee that some people seem to have. To me this is just a tragedy.
