This poor kid has been living in a miasma of hate and abuse all his life. I can’t imagine the darkness and misery he lived with every day as a matter of course. Now his life is even more ruined than it was before. It’s heartbreaking.

Let’s hope the judicial system can be cool and rational on this. Not knowing the details of the case we can’t pre-judge but with a ten year old kid you’d have to hope for rehabilitation and the chance of a full and productive life.

I’m going to hope it was a case of the kid protecting a younger sibling from his dirtbag father. At least then he stands a fair chance of growing up to live a decent life.
How messed up is the mom though that she could not get custody vs. a Neo-Nazi? In NJ, my understanding is the mom almost always gets custody unless the mom is a serious mess. But maybe that does not hold true elsewhere.
