Does anyone here participate on Neopets.com? If anyone wants to know what it is, it’s a virtual pets website. You feed them, and play with them, all through your currency, which are neopoints. They’re not your normal animals, though. No dogs or cats will be found here. I happen to have three Neopets, and my user name is ‘neptune1984’ (my internet identity before I dumped it for this one). The eldest is a red Scorchio (dragon) named ‘Nicodemus_Fury’; the second one a green Quiggle (a frog type) named ‘Faroth_86’; and a blue Blumaroo (looks like a stuffed animal kangaroo but without the pouch) named, gasp, ‘Bean_Shadow’.
I’ve been playing on it all morning. Both my kids and I have accounts. I lured Verrain and robgruver into it as well. 
I have a Uni named Morgernstern and a Gelert named Storm_Hound.
I’ve currently been addicted to the Wheel of Excitement, which is bad because it’s gotten one of my pets sick as heck and I’ll be damned if I can find the medicine. The pharmacy hasn’t been selling it.
It’s so addicting, this Neopets. I’ve told myself, “It’s just a .gif or .jpg with a name you gave it.” But when it says, “You’re the best owner ever!” I just melt.

If your pet gets sick (with one of the expensive to cure illnesses such as D’Achoo or Bloaty Belly), feed him or her a Poisonous Mushroom and the illness will change to Neopox. You can get Neopox Pizza from anybody for less than 50 NP.

My Neopets name is cazlturn. My pets are Xfvjabc (long story) the Scorchio, Tiggy_Umpkins the Elephante, Edgar_Snaffleback the Lenny, and Albie_Sweetchuck the Chomby. Mr Cazzle used to play, and he had a pet named Peanut_Bananastand.
Does anyone else hate that they try to make you sign up with sponsors who will spam you until the end of time? Since my little sisters-in-law lost their internet access at home, I keep their inbox cleaned out for them, and I’m sick of trying to get Neopets sponsors to stop emailing them.
For those of you(myself included) who would otherwise have been severely pissed off that nobody posted a damn link.

Oh, gawd. I have four. Two are due to my nephew who wanted to try it, but they were put under my name. Aaaaahhh! Now I don’t have the heart to put them in the pound. Oh, and my name is MissETicket (how original :rolleyes: ). My pets are: Fleur_La_Dee_Da the Uni, Vitrolic Bump the Peophin, Ho_o the Eyrie and Acheilles the Eyrie. The Eyries are male and were supposed to be my nephew’s. But now I can’t bear to part with them.

I’m probably a reall crap owner - when my pets get sick, I don’t heal them - I just wait until the fairy at the healing pond does it for me.
