Nerdgasm: Star Trek: Captian Worf

Nay.

Especially with Sisko’s girlfriend playing Beckett’s boss!

I had forgotten about that - but yeah - Frakes Directs a few of the episodes - notably the one a season or so ago at the comic convention with the ‘sci fi’ show killer.

I think it would only last one episode. Worf would meet a larger ship and, having no other options, crash his into it. A glorious death that will be spoken of in legends for eons.

The thing is. They will propose a Captain Worf show. The studios will greelight a Captain Wesley.

Although Wil Wheaton is actually pretty funny.

He’d never do it in a million years. He feels pretty strongly that they* purposefully tried to screw him over as a child actor (and given the evidence, I’m leaning towards him being right) and I’m betting there’s no way that he’d give them the satisfaction.

*“They” being the production people, not the actual actors or set crew or individual directors. Want to make that clear - he loves those guys.

Nobody would be afraid of Captain Wesley - they’d have to name it ‘Captain D.P. Robert’ or something.

I want to see Captain Worf’s performance assessment meetings

“Lt Martin, your slow response in reporting sensor readings have dishonored me and our ship.”

“I’ve very sorry sir”

“Apologies are not sufficient. Prepare for battle”

The crew would complain to Starfleet about this, except the Captain never wins any of the fights.

So is Dorn. He pulled off most of the funniest one-liners on STNG. I always thought he was underrated as a thespian; he was quite a shining light of acting ability on that show, hidden under all the makeup.

Too true.

If they do it like Quark

This might be more to your liking: Star Trek RPG - Mission #3: "Some Other Side of Paradise" (ignore the Halloween wallpaper; it’ll be gone soon).

Yes! My favorite bit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdC6hM9Pn7s

Nope - wrong Quark: Quark | Memory Alpha | Fandom

So, if Worf becomes captain of his own ship, will he be a merry man at last?

No, I had it right the first time. Doing it as the Buck Henry creation, Worf and Scotty really could haul off the Enterprise as garbage.

Of course, we could put Quark on the Quark. He could run a bar with Sam, Dianne, Coach, and the Horta.

I’m starting to see the attraction of this series!

Here’re your opening credits.

Awesome!

That was awesome. I loved the Gorn with his sassy turn around pose.

Had to check this wasn’t a zombie thread. He did three episodes two years ago. I don’t think this really counts as current work.
