For the last 2 years, I have been working on my own running a small onsite computer biz…doing ok now, but who would nt like to work a little less and make a little more <raises hand>
As of monday I take on a partner…
Partner has access to funding…
We are officially going storefront, probably within 60 days.
Parts, orders already being built
Fun begins soon, going shopping for location next week.
Myself, I am doing some sub-consulting with a couple of older gentlemen… hopefully it will turn into some kind of mutual partnership or co-mingling of the two firms when they get ready to close their doors.
I still can’t believe I’m making my bills on self-employed income.
I’d wish you luck but I don’t think that’s what you need. For running your own business you need stamina. If you make it to one year, I’ll buy you a case of Redbull.
Correct, scooped up most of the basic tools over the next few days. 90% of tech work is a screwdriver, had to do a lil old school teching for a bit, but I am pretty much up and running full speed again. I had a huge run of business right after that so much of my tool costs are already covered. Still need a new laptop but that can wait till the insurance settlement check shows.
