I used duct tape to repair a pair of expensive headphones.
I also salvaged a pole lamp that had been thrown out. The pole itself was broken, but the lamp still worked. So I duct taped the pole back together. I also salvaged a 60s Westinghouse desk fan someone put out by the dumpster.
