This is just IMO, but Netflix has been putting out better cartoons than CN, Nickelodeon and Disney Channel these days. Dragon Prince and Hilda are better than most of the content the big 3 have been churning out lately. Why do you think that is?
Netflix has been putting them out, but the studios that made the programs, hold the rights to them. Normally, the network would get all the rights, rebroadcast, sequels, spin-offs etc. Letting the studio keep them gives the studios more incentive to produce higher quality works. Supposedly. So what happened to “B: the Beginning”? We were supposed to have the sequel by now! Dragon Pilot II? Heck even Disenchantment. Where is it?
Just watched a couple episodes of “Trailer Park Boys” the animated series this morning.
VERY wrong but also very funny.
well for starters totally different audiences except for captain underpants Netflix generally its original makes for cartoons for older teens and adults… they tried to get all the DreamWorks tv series popular and it didn’t work and universal ended up making their own kids channel …
the big 3 occasionally get lucky and make something adults get into like gravity falls the star wars series or regular show or steven universe but these days its its all teen titans go and gumball ……with occasional craig of the creek we bare bears …… ect
I see a few off years before it picks back up
