Newsflash, execs: Kids (I hate the word kid. It sounds so vulgar and demeaning) do not have the power to do what ever they want. If an adult wants them to stay in school or do chres, well, they have do. Don’t fill young minds with meaningless drivel about some natural righ to not do homework. True, homework sucks from day one to college, but you hdo it anyway. that is how ou learn.
I like Anime, and nothing is wrong with fantasy, or eve a kids vs. adults platform, but for God’s sakes could you make the children more likeable and less idiotic? Seriousl, Every show my nephews/neices/little cousins make me watch just sickens me nowadays. They are not even funny nymore!

I don’t like Nickelodeon very much (why in MY day, Nick ruled!.. ). But some of their cartoons are pretty cool, mainly SpongeBob SquarePants and The Wild Thornberrys.
My big problem with Nickelodeon is N’Sync Backstreet Boys Destiny’s Child Britney Spears Pink Mandy Moore Aaron Carter Baja Men being shoved in the kids’ faces from 2:00 on. When my oldest gets home from school and gets his 1/2 hour of cartoons before homework, it’s Cartoon Network all the way, baybee.
ah, now that was a great cartoon. it was as good as any japanese anime, but it was home grown USA cartoon (based on a character from a japanese game, to be certain, but still…).
oh it had such a sad, sad death. so ignoble. damn network execs and the whole “violence” thing of the mid ninetys.

Gundum, LORD of Mecha anime. WTF only two of the series, and the short ones at that and only 1 episode each day!?! They have 30 years of kick ass anime to show in this series.

What I coudln’t believe is that they showed Cowboy Bebop w/o censoring it. And they actually almost translated it right.
My problem with Nickelodian is that they are owned and run by the same Media Lords who run MTV. As such, Nickelodian has the same agenda as MTV.
However, I do like Squarebob Spongepants.
Although I was never a big Rocko fan I liked Salute Your Shorts. (and, in the same vein, Hey Dude). And what happened to Clarissa and Alex Mack? And Are You Afraid of the Dark? (worth watching just for when they throw that stuff on the fire!)
