Netflix can suck hedgehog nuts...suggest a good netflix choice.

What sort of info on NYC are you interested in. You can get lost in the history of just specific areas like the village or wall st.

I think it might have been an American Experience offering.

ETA: Yep. American Experience

For documentary viewing, you can go to Doc Zone at CBC to watch some really interesting one-hour ones online.

I signed up for Netflix so I could rewatch Saving Grace, since I missed the final two episodes when it was on TV. I also thought that it would be nice to have a bigger selection than my local Red Box.

A bigger selection does not mean a better selection, though. It seems like every time I think about a movie that I’d like to see, they don’t have it. They have all sorts of stuff that I have never even heard of and movies that I’ve heard of, but have no interest in.

I enjoyed Orange is the New Black, but I probably would never have watched in the first place if someone on these boards had not said that Laura Prepon got naked (liar!). I probably won’t watch any upcoming seasons because the main character is such an awful person, totally unlikable after the first episode or two.

They feature a lot of old (30’s & 40’s) movies, so I thought that such classics as Gaslight and Laura would be available. Guess again.

Do any Hulu users know if the selection is any better there? It might be time to make a swithch.

Ah, dammit, Canadian Netflix doesn’t have that one. I wanna see it!

I can watch this one, however, and am doing so as I type.

I’ve been experiencing that, too. I can still always find something I want to watch, though. It does have the world’s largest selection of two- and three-star movies, though.

“Beauty is Embarrassing” was okay - I enjoyed it. Wayne White is quite a character.

Now I’m watching Money and Medicine, examining the high costs of healthcare in the US, including overtreatment and the flawed payment model. It’s very informative.

Farscape is now streaming on Netflix…again.
