Netflix's "The Dirt"...Motley Freaking Crue!

Anyone else watched this movie? It’s certainly not high art, nor is it necessarily completely accurate, but it is entertaining.

Machine Gun Kelly was surprisingly good as Tommy Lee, and the actors that played Nikki Sixx and Mick Mars were good as well.

Did you see it? Did you like it?

I saw it and thought it was pretty terrible. Poorly acted and poorly directed, but just enough T&A to keep me from shutting it off. And for about half of it it was driving me crazy where I had seen the actor playing Mick Mars before. And then- aha!

Ramsey Bolton. Of course.

It was okay, worth watching for me since I didn’t know anything about the band’s history. I got a chuckle out of grumpy Mick Mars. The actor playing Vince Neil, I knew I’d seen him someplace before…he played Lee Harvey Oswald in 11.22.63.

Grumpy Mick Mars was pretty awesome.

“Shut up, drummer”.

I thought it was pretty good, but all over the place, tone-wise. Some bits were light hearted, some were real gut-punches. But I suppose that’s inevitable when you try to condense the decade-plus escapades and experiences of four guys down into a two-hour movie.

I thought it was ok. There were several stories from the book that were left out but I understand why.
