I’m getting blue screen of death with Win10, and an error message that something to do with Netwbw02.sys is responsible. This is probably once, maybe twice week. I’ve Googled it and it appears that it’s related to the wifi connection. There are a few suggestions that I replace the file, and or the router. The file is cheaper to replace, that is, if I can find a replacement.
Any ideas where I can get a new Netwbw02.sys file?
Any ideas where I might find the bad file on my Win 10 computer?
Thanks for any help. The technical explanations I’ve found reads like Chinese to me.
That file is part of your network driver. Check your computer manufacturer’s web page to see if there’s an updated driver. If not, just re-install the latest driver that you can find.
Installing drivers varies. See the instructions that come with the driver for details on how to install it.
Google it and filter by date so you get the latest. I always start with a 1 week look back as Microsoft updates Windows 10 often. So, quite possibly an update from the current week is causing this issue with bunches of people. Also, try and find a link to the Microsoft or Intel forums first, then maybe a place like reddit but reddit can be absurd.
Any ways, this is from less than two months ago and might be it but I don’t have all the info:
