I like it as well. I was really hooked on the frist season and sort of faded out on the second. I lost track and just haven’t fallen back into step yet.
I think its a great show and look forward to catching up. Sully, davis, boscoe and bobby(rip) were my fav characters. Kim reminds me too much of a friend, in looks as well as strange life.
Just give the reruns a try miller, maybe you’ll grow to enjoy…

Is “Grandmother Frozen to the Floor” par for the course?
Yes and no. Once in awhile they throw in an emergency scenario that leaves the emergency crew scratching thir head in a “well… now I’ve seen it all…” kind of way. IIRC, that was one of the episodes that got the “a dramatic new episode of Third Watch!” promo treatment.
(Like when you hear the Voice say “join us for a very special episode…” you know it’s eatither going to suck or have something realy unusual.)
If I remember the rest of the episode, the non-grannypop stuff was fairly standard.
Another one of those was the woman who kept all the homemade desserts around to feed her little girl. The “little girl” must have weighed 500 pounds and the paramedics had to knock out a wall to get her out of the apartment.
The opposite end of the spectrum would be episodes like the one that starts out with Sully & Ty making a routine traffic stop but it turned out the guys they stopped had just buried someone alive to hold for ransom. Or Bosco, Yokas, Doc & Carlos going to check on a vagrant and end up being locked in by a pair of drug dealers. There’s more of those episodes than there are of the “I’ve seen it all” ones.
