Never Had Pizza?

Never eaten pizza. Or a hot dog.

I have never had pizza. Not once. I hate cheese and tomatoes with a passion.

I have worked in a pizza shop, however. Go figure

Rick

I have to chime in with “most seafood” crowd. I tried a tiny piece of lobster once to see what I might be missing and it confirmed that it was that fishy tasting stuff I thought it might be. Tuna fish, fish sticks and Fillet o’ Fish/Whaler only for me.

I could live happily on a diet made up of just what’s been mentioned here (well, I still don’t know about the Ding-Dongs, or the hedgehog for that matter).

Oh, hedge hog’s not that bad.

Tastes like chicken.

I knew a girl from Hong Kong who never had pizza. Actually, she took 1 bite, but it was too hot, so she spit it out and decided it was not for her.

As for me… I’ve never had rye bread, plain yogurt, sardines or hard boiled eggs.

I had Taco Bell once, maybe twice…Never had Wendy’s either. Funny how after a certain age, you just can’t cross over to certain fast food joints.

I’ve never had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I abhor peanuts and the smell and texture of peanut butter is enough to make me vomit. It’s all american but I’m never going to eat it.

I love seafood, though. Shrimp, lobster, but I have never had oysters. Not sure I want to.

If there are any dopers who haven’t eaten chicken or bread, I think they would win the award for most commen food not eaten.

Well, I have eaten very little seafood, less than a dozen times tops not counting clams. Even then, only deep fried (strips, not that whole-bellied crap!) or in chowder. I have hated every other seafood I have tried…it all tastes the same to me, which is like it smells-fishy. Ugh, awful. So, I have no sworn off trying any new seafood because I know I will hate it.

(And yes, I even hate lobster and crab.)

As far as fastfood is concerned, I’ve never had whitecastle, roy rogers, or popeyes, to name a few.

(Oh, and although I don’t know anyone who hasn’t eaten bread, I do know a guy who HATES it. He only eats a couple of varietires, and even then it’s just to hold the insides of his sandwich (which is many many layers of meat and cheese) together.)

I’ve eaten pizza, but I don’t think I’ll ever eat it again. Which is a shame since I love the crust. I suppose I could get it white and be safe from an allergic reaction, but most places don’t make it white around here…

Anyway, I’ve never eaten lobster or the vast majority of other seafood. Being as I’ve disliked every type I’ve tried, besides breaded clam strips, I’m not motivated to try any more. I don’t care what haddock, bass, scalops, salmon and whatever else taste like.

I haven’t tried many veggies also. Cabbage, radishes, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, eggplant, zucchini, asparagus, parsnips…I’ve never tried mushrooms either; since Dad is severely allergic to them I was never allowed to try them growing up, and haven’t felt the need to as an adult.

Heck, I was 19 before I was ever at a McDonalds! My father didn’t believe fast food was healthy, so we never ate it, and I didn’t watch much TV.

I’ve never eaten beef heart, tongue, or tripe; never had kidneys, either. I’m just not into “innards.”

I’ve never had a Big Mac, and I worked at McD’s for four years and lived within a mile of one all my life.
