New Ambassador to Israel: American Liberal Jews Worse than Jews Turning in Jews in Nazi Death Camps

Finally, are J Street supporters really as bad as kapos? The answer, actually, is no. They are far worse than kapos – Jews who turned in their fellow Jews in the Nazi death camps. The kapos faced extraordinary cruelty and who knows what any of us would have done under those circumstances to save a loved one? But J Street? It’s a dumb and offensive statement but I don’t think he’ll make a bad Ambassador. Israel is certainly pleased with the pick. And I really do hope that Trump carries through on his pledge to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Other Presidents-Elect have made the same promise only to weasel out of it later when they enter the White House.

The role of an Ambassador is to represent the interests of the home country. If he identifies with Israel instead, he’s not doing his job.

Fortunately, in the American system, “Ambassador” is a campaign donation reward, so he’s go some leeway for incompetance, but still, not his job to do the job of the Israeli ambassdor to Washington.

Compare his credentials with those of previous ambassadors to Israel.

He’s wants the Israeli government to rapidly expand settlement constructions, seizure of more West Bank territory, and eviction of Palestinians, which would put him to the right of most of the Likud Party.
