Well I’m a bit less One and Only, my second daughetr was born last night weighing 7lb 14oz. We’re calling her Isobel Phoebe. off back to hospital shortly. Hope I can bring them home today.

(Yes, I know newborns are extremely nearsighted. Still, it reminds me of the first time my older daughter’s eyes stopped wandering and locked onto mine. She couldn’t have known who I was, but there was a connection that I’ll always remember.)
