New Deal Democrat has been the subject of a great deal of controversy because of his views on race and genetics and related subjects. He received a handful of warnings and a suspension for ignoring moderator instructions last year, mostly for bringing up those topics in threads where it was not relevant. He was suspended for a month in July 2011 as a result. Lately he’d gotten more confrontational with his opinions; he was being Pitted for his views in three different threads but still felt the need to open a fourth thread to espouse his views. This appeared to be a blatant case of rubbing his views in people’s faces. On top of that he was junior moderating and asked another poster if he’d ever committed rape. As far as the staff was concerned, this was blatant trolling. Taking into a account his previous record, we have banned him.
