I finally have a minute to myself to write a proper update on the pregnancy thing (the one I was so totally done with back april, for those of you keeping track), so here goes.
This is slightly late, I realize, but well, I’ve had stuff going on
Anyway, the perfect baby girl was born a little over a month ago. She is, of course, the love of our lives, and we couldn’t be happier. She is a warm little bundle of pure love, making cute snoring noises as I write this.
And you’re going to hate me but…I totally have that baby. The one who almost never cries, sleeps several hours in a row from birth, goes right to sleep if we drive anywhere, and just…well, you know how the newborn stage is supposed to be the endless sleep deprived screamy zombie nightmare? It isn’t. At all. I was totally geared up for several years of hell, and it turns out babies are all kinds of awesome (at least mine is).
So yeah. This past month has just flown past in a very cute blurr.
Congratulations! I’ve got one of those too – the baby who sleeps through the night, every night. From birth. We had to wake her up to feed her. Now she goes the whole night (she’s six months old). And she loves meeting people, and smiles all the time, and gets cranky maybe ten minutes out of every day.
That’s awesome. Post pics. And if you have a second one because the first was such an angel, don’t be surprised if you get satan’s evil twin spawn. Jus saying.
Yeah, I had that baby too. Now she’s 8 and wonder if somebody switched her at some point. She seems to have an opinion about absolutely everything. Tiny lawyers, oh so much fun!

I wonder that too - for now I’m just enjoying our sweet girl.
And we woke her up to feed her once - never again. She made it quite plain that this was just not acceptable.
