On holiday in Dorset a week or two ago… the weather was rubbish but it never rains in the pub.

No, if I recall correctly that was Palmers Copper Ale. Then there was the Tally Ho, Dorset Gold and a few different ciders. Did I mention it was a very long wet afternoon? 
There are no dry afternoons in Dorset, long or short.

OMG, I didn’t know that’s where you lived in PA! Didn’t know you were that close! Next time I should invite myself over. Seriously! You know how much sailors love to drink!! 
According to Google Maps it is a 33 minute drive from my house to Codorus State Park. I haven’t been there in ages. I love it in the autumn.
Had I known you were in the area I would have loved to take you out on the town.

Actually that sounds good. I am planning to sail until the end of the season. The marina is open after Labor Day on weekends still, until November, so there should be some opportunities to get together. I’ll keep you posted and make sure to give ya plenty of warning. Just shoot me an email w/ your address so I can do a Mapquest or something. 
Alsoooooo… I am currently shopping for a SMALL boat (nothing fancy!!!) and the more I go out in the sunfish the more I want one. It’s like so much harder to sail (for me anyhow) yet so much cooler than a bigger boat. Plus cheaper and easier to store! I’m almost certain I won’t get one before the end of this season but I might get lucky. I am just in the very beginning stages of shopping though. I have always enjoyed sailing and it’s nice to be able to pick it back up again after like almost 9 years away from it. I have resolved not to let life and work get in the way of the stuff I wanna do anymore!!!
