After recently rewatching Midnight Cowboy I’ve developed sort of a man-crush for the young Jon Voight. I mean, Christ, he really was one hell of a good actor back then, with amazing screen presence and a really expressive face. Why he never went on to true stardom is beyond me - I think he could have been the Paul Newman of the 70s/80s. He had the combination of leading-man looks and character-actor talent, but his career kind of went on a downward slide and he was in a lot of forgettable movies, eventually settling into his current position as “intimidating authority figure.” He’s not bad at playing that role, but he could have had a way better career.

I like the 80’s one better. I watched more cartoons then, so I recognized more. Some I didn’t though or watched in stunned amazement as they unfolded (Gilligan’s Planet!?)
