New feline addition to the household

Last time I was seriously (as in stay-home-from-work-and-in-bed) sick, Ms Alainn stayed very close to me. But I have a feeling that it was more of an “if he dies, I call earlobes!” thing.

ESCAPE!

We had the front door open a couple of days ago, and Tonka didn’t make a move toward it; so I thought nothing of opening the back screen door (intending to shut it immediately) as I went out to start the coals in the barbie. No sooner had I opened the screen door, than Tonka darted out. He explored slowly, but I was unable to get to him as he went through the fence into the next yard.

Mom coaxed him back with some kitty treats.

But she’ll have to act as Door Monitor as I take the oysters and prawns and steak and corn out to cook.

We brought Tonka home from NOAH three years ago today.

Happy Adoption Day, Tonka!

A friend of mine calls it “Gotcha Day”. Happy Gotcha Day to all of you!
