OK, I lied, one more question:
After I get the tiles from the rat room and capture the rat, how do I open the door? I put the tiles in the glass box and alligned them with the itty bitty lines on the separations, but the door won’t open.

Yay! I was seriously frustrated on the first two levels, and I pretty much trial-and-errored the long Intelli-code or whatever, but I finished it! sits back, satisfied
Deadly Nightlight
I’m not sure which part you mean by “square rectangle thing,” but I’m guessing you’re at the part with the lock that starts with the (mostly) happy faces?
Check the sequences of colors, numbers of sides, anything.
Anubis You’ve got to put the rat on the lines. Click on the top part of the box so you don’t accident;y move the tiles.

Ok, I need to know…
What glass box? I got the tiles off the wall… now what? I’ve been clicking on everything I could find!
Egads, I’ve created a monster! =) If you go to the main page for the game, you can get a link to a forum discussing the game (mainly help on the puzzles, yay), and you can also sign up to be emailed when more work is done on the game.
It looks like most questions have been solved already…
SopranoRosa, welcome to the SDMB.
Look in the first room you entered, with the locked door. Make sure you examine everything …
hmm… OK, I’m stuck in the odd-one out game… I’ve got no Idea why ‘P’ was odd, but I’d already seen the spoiler above so I just used that… which is the odd one out of the sets of 4 coloured squares?
never mind… cracked it…

either that or i just guessed right
Wheee! Finally finished. Great game StephenG, thank you.
Anybody know of any other games like this?
Knowed:
The key here is to save electricity, so the machine will work.
You do that by not using electricity for other things and warming up the room.
Thanks, StephenG! Finally found it!
I’m also trying to find another game like this. Even though I was really bad at beating this one! Suggestions?
Finally beat it, that took me back to the days of Kings Quest and Leisure Suit Larry.
Gaah! how many stages are there on the odd one out game?
I’m on stage 18, btw. The one with the multicoloured squares.
