I think this is the right forum (travel?), but happened to see that Google has just started their new Google Flight today.
Here is an article that explains it more in depth, but so far, I tried a few things and it seems kind of cool. I am sure those who travel more will be able to comment better.
Just went to have a look but since it doesn’t support non-US flights just yet it’s of limited utility to me.
Moved Cafe Society --> IMHO, via a direct flight.
Useless. I fly to Hawaii on Thursday, and it was unable to pull up my itinerary.
Wave, Buzz, Plus, Flight.
Google does searching, email and translation really well, but everything else it does seems to suck.
What don’t you like about Flight?
The interface is really good. On other sites, you enter all of your trip info in and then do a sometimes lengthy search. With Google Flight, it is really easy to adjust your travel days and instantly see the difference in price. You can enter the info as you go.
Downsides are international travel is missing and booking was not supported for at least one airline that I tested (Spirit). Hopefully these roll-out soon.
I would try it for my next trip.
