New Hampshire results
The Associated Press has apparently called the race for Clinton as well. CNN says it’s too close to call, with a lead of close to 6,000 votes for Clinton with some major college towns yet to report.

D’oh!
FOX says the college towns are chump change…500 votes at most. Not enough for Obama…

CNN is being stoopid.

I don’t know what they’re thinking… If Obama gets 100% in all remaining precincts (yes… I’m exagerrating kinda
Neat, though it doesn’t look like the more populated districts in the S are particularly favoring Obama.
Actually pretty clear now that the Boston area is favoring Clinton
The press over-response may well have helped her…
Yeah, judging from the results among women voters, it seems they may have rallied to her defense.

Oh boy! A horse race! My vote might actually matter this year!

Romney has closed the gap considerably with McCain.

CNN projects Clinton

McCain is still beating him by about 7000 votes.

So? It’s much closer than it was before. Romney has gone from 27% to 32% in hte last couple of hours.

McCain 60,653
Romney 51,913

Per CNN–more than 8000.

Is John Edwards from North Carolina or South Carolina? If he’s from SC and doesn’t win that primary he’s through.

He was helped by the late Boston adjacent areas. Not exactly surprising.

Is Colbert still in?

So where are Edwards voters expected to go after he (eventually) bails?

He was born in SC, but is a senator from NC…He won the SC primary in '04, but is polling third this year…

No, he couldn’t get on the ballot.

Edwards is toast. He is only polling at 15% in South Carolina, and this result certainly won’t help him.

I expect most of his voters will defect to Obama. I suspect he may strike some sort of deal to endorse Obama. (A cabinet position, perhaps?)

That’s a nice map. I really like the expanding light areas when you drag your mouse over a county, and the fading trail of selections as you move your cursor around.
Someone put some effort into that map, and I hope we see more like it in the coming primaries.

It’s going to be interesting to see how the South Carolina polls move over the next few days as a result of this outcome.

I cannot suppress my disdain for Hillary Clinton. She strikes me as a snake-oil salesperson…not to mention how I perceive her in terms of sincerity, as well as her inability to differentiate herself in words that mean something to me.
And ultimately, we need a breath of fresh air. If Hillary is elected, then it means a Clinton or Bush has held the White House since 1988.
I’m not willing to submit to this kind of dynastic bullshit.

Just what we need… more of the Clinton/Bush dynasty. When do we get our country back?
