I agree with this. Norton was a much better Banner than Bana. Bana was passive and weak while Norton was a real person fighting to keep his emotions under control, using techniques taught to him by one of the Gracies. (How cool was that!?). It was pretty surprising considering Bana can certainly play strong toguh characters. I guess it was just another of Ang Lee’s strange choices.
I was surprised by how much I liked this movie, which I thought was going to be mediocre to bad. Norton was really cool. The fight scenes were actually exciting, basically a monster movie with small monsters. Now that Marvel has more control over movies based on it’s stories, I hope we’ll see more crossovers, like the Downey cameo, and the Stark industries logo
The thing I liked about the Ang version was that the HULK got visably bigger, stronger the angrier he got…living up the the madder the HULK gets, the stronger he becomes.
In the last scene when HULK was angry, I would have liked to see him get larger than the Abomination, and have the abomination realize, it was over, he could never beat the Hulk.
