Which message board set-up do you like better? The old “infopop”, or the new “vBulletin”?
I like the new one, obviously. It’s faster, cleaner, and has more options, but I know there are fogies out there that are opposed to any change.
If you liked the old version better, please tell us why.

If you want my opinion right now, I would have to say I liked the old one better. However, the new one is nicer looking, loads faster and offers many benefits. The reason that I choose the old one is that the new one still has a few kinks in it. Ask me again in two weeks or so and I will probably have changed my mind.
No offense to PVon, but, how can people argue about this one?
I mean, this thing is inherently superior to UBB because it doesn’t crash every day.

Frankly, we don’t actually know that yet. I personally never had a problem with the old one crashing, maybe I just have really really good timing? All that I’m saying is that the setup is too young to judge, but that if I had to take it as it is now, or the old one as it was when I last posted on it, I would take the old one.
I like this one so far. But then I was still pretty much a newbie to the old one so I wasn’t all that attached to it as well as it crashing on me regularily. Usually whenever I was trying to send something (which resulted in me hitting the send agin and again because of impatience and ultimately becoming the Patron Saint of Quintuplet Posts…) I used to hang around ChickClick (as I said when showing up here) They switched as well but I like this one better then the one they switched too. Then again its probably the people too…
Well, since apparently I am the only one who seems to find the new board somewhat slower than the old one, I don’t guess mine counts.
I don’t know why it is loading slower but it is.
Also, for some reason (could be colors, maybe font is smaller?) reading the board now gives me a headache (maybe it’s the trolls coming back!)
Anyway, it’s not that bad but as of right now, I will have to say I like the old one better. However, I’m sure in a couple weeks I will have forgotten what the other board was like!
When you posted a reply, the old system would take you back to the thread you just posted in. The new one merely takes you back to the message board. Oh, and the “Show signature” checkbox is always on by default – I liked having it be off by default.

So far, I am experiencing it to be much slower, and it has caused me to double-, and almost triple-, post.
I assume this will improve with time.

Well, it is hopefully not an unfixable thing, although the techs will probably cover the big issues first. There is an easy way to get around it though; all you have to do is never post anything in the wrong forum and never hijack a topic to the point that it needs to be moved.
