Parler is, naturally, suing Amazon for breach of contract, seeking restoration of service and triple damages. How well that will work, given that, as previously noted, their lawyers have couped the flee, is nobody’s guess.
I’m sure Rudy, Sidney, and Jenna are on the case.

I remember seeing lots of linked stories from Newsmax and “Newsbusters” back around 2010, back when Andrew Breitbart was alive and gaining a reputation for being a shithead. They always had ads with Ron Paul predicting the end of the dollar and how we needed to buy gold now because…Democrats and socialism! The irony is, it’s GOP policy that is exploding the debt and weakening the dollar.
I tend to think that the feds would get their guys with or without a hack’s help; the info dump is probably going to be much more of an issue for the suburban racist who looks like a good dude by day but is an insurrectionist and MAGAbot off the clock. I’d probably be consulting a PR crisis management firm, investing in some good search engine reputation scrubbing and management, and polishing up my CV if I were ‘that guy’ right about now.

Powell is fighting a suit against for $1.3 billion (for libel, by the Dominion company that makes voting machines), so will be too busy to help Parler.
Well, to be fair, she’d be helping Parler if they’d come up with her $1.3 billion retainer!

I’ve posted this article several times, and ETA - apparently in this thread, I got the note when I tried to repost- . It’s a fantastic piece that it doesn’t seem to get a lot of views, so I’m going to make the post.
It’s about the delegitimization of the Republican Party, as seen in 2012, when it was written. To show how far we’ve come, the author feels that the new breed of corrupt lying Republican was exemplified by Mitt Romney. The subtitle of the article is mail order conservatism.
How the Republican Party got to be where it us today is a complicated question, but this is a large part of the picture.
I mere have to periodically make sure that nobody is of the mistaken impression that I have articulatedness.
That article is far, far better than merely “fantastic”; thank you for linking it. I don’t know how I might have missed it before, but I’m very glad to have read it now. I wasn’t even halfway done before I bookmarked the page.
I’ve seen links to it that describe it as “seminal”. I break it out and read it every few months just to keep it fresh in my mind.
