Kind of a weird looking thing.
Maybe it’s a chupacabra!

Wow, that is really cool.
DRAT!
No enlarged photos available! :smack:
It’s not actually a mammal, and they have the picture backwards. It’s a pygmy brontosaurus, and that long part extending out on the right is actually its neck. What look like eyes in the foreground are just some blurred leaves in the foreground.
It’s those radioactive squirrels from the park where Burns and Smithers hid the nuclear waste in the trees.
Oh man, now I’m hungry!
You sound like a co-worker of mine, everything is a chupacabra. He was leaving work one night when he saw a little creature run past the building he came running back in and said he saw something weird and it was either a brown ferret or a chupacabra. So we all had to go look and it was a mink (in pre-coat form). He still insisted it was a chupacabra though. Every so often he emails me another picture of something he insists is a chupacabra.
Anyway, it’s always fun and interesting to find new species. Did you see the picture of the new lemur species? It’s sooo cute!
Ooooh ooooh! Get the hunting gear. We can be the first to kill one!
Also, what’s up with the WWF looking for new species?
“Can you smell what the Rock is cooking?”
A new Lemur… or Civet.
Mmmmmm. Civet.
Hang on, they don’t seem to have named it, yet…
I claim this animal on behalf of Revenant Threshold. It shall be named the “Revthresh Lemur”.
I’ll be charging $0.50 to look at those photos - make your cheques out to “Red Fur Coat Emporium, London, England”, please.
That’s exactly what I thought when I first saw the pic too!
Ditto. Once I’d figured out what I was really looking at, I was very disappointed.
No, no, those are eyespots on its hindquarters, meant to confuse predators.
Pygmy Tyrannosaurus: Rarrr! I am going to eat you!
Pygmy Brontosaurus: Oh, you think so, do you? Check out these eyespots!
Pygmy Tyrannosaurus: Buh?
Pygmy Brontosaurus: Flees into the underbrush, chortling victorously
I don’t think that’s a lemur…maybe you oughtta lock up your goats, Wile E.
Feh. I think it should get a completely ridiculous name - one that’ll make people say, “Why the hell did they call it that??”
So in the honour of Ren & Stimpy, I dub the beast to be a Stinky Wizzleteats (Stinkus Wizzleteatus).
Oh my God! It’s coming right for us!
Let’s call it a WolfRat, after a gross misspelling and mispronunciation of one of the scientists.
Chronos – at first glance I thought th same thing.
