New Member in The Crew: Killer-In-Training (New Puppy, with pix)

For reasons I don’t fully understand, a new puppy arrived at the house a couple weeks ago. Another Dachshund, this one puts the Dap in Dappled. Cute and feisty, supposed to wind up on the larger end of Weenie dogs, about Doxie size, maybe. But for now, she’s just a sweet little puppy.

The Crew were very stand-offish at first. Took close to a week for them to warm up to her. In that time, she had to spend lots of lap-time to keep her quiet and happy. Pretty soon, however, Ted started to play with her, then Trixie, and then Dixie took her in like one of her own. Doxie still is kinda gruff with her, but he’s old and crotchbonie, so that’s to be understood. I find him sleeping with her now and then, and he tries to deny it, but I sar ya!

Also featured is the infamous “Jeep Fog” spreading out across the alkali flat, and a Cairn I built that seems to spit in Newton’s face. Damned if I can figure it out. Must be Woo.

Introducing Hickory The Dog. Newest Member of The Killer Elite.

What a precious baby angel! Oh she is going to be so fewoahcious!

She is so cute! Way to go Fred! :skritches:

Cutie-pie!!!

Who’s ‘Fred’? Do you know something I don’t?

She looks like there’s some Aussie Shepherd in her ancestry. What a little doll!

Aw, I wanna 'nother one. So cute!

She shit in the Jeep again tonight. I gotta come up with a plan…

Look at that puppy belly! (I’m not talking about you, Gato)

Damnit. :frowning:
Extra skritches for Ted. Or just change his name.
Any chance of future puppies? Just wondering. No reason.

Ted’s already been subjected to two name changes. If I’d have know we would end up keeping him, he would have been named Hickory. He looks like a Hickory. He don’t look like no ‘Banjo’.

Might be some puppies down the road, but not for quite a while, I think.

I’ll post more pics as she grows and gets into more trouble.

Pup tummy! I like the beige roundie, I had two of them back in the day.

Good Eye, My Man! (It’s ‘Sahara’ ) Did you watch the video of the drive when the exhaust broke? It’s up there, too.

As promised. New photos added. She’s getting bigger.

You laugh, but those cute widdle puppy wuppies were bred to kill badgers in their holes. Had one who tried but I had a leash on him.

Actually, she nearly tore the head off a Kangaroo rat that Teddy caught while attempting to take it from him yesterday. I had to intervene. forgot my phone, or I’d have pictures.
