“What if (director) directed (movie not directed by him/her)? The major difference would be (fill in the blank)”
I don’t have any ideas off the top of my head - but you folks are a creative bunch - Let’s hear your "what-if"s
What if Woody Allen directed Lord of the Rings?
“I can’t carry it for you, Mr. Frodo, I have this terrible rash. What if there is no Aman, and all of this is pointless?”
What if Quentin Tarrantino had directed Pride and Prejudice?
“Mr. Darcy, how dare you gun down my maid in a fit of pique? Your courting has taken a very strange turn if this is your idea of how one courts a lady.”
If Rob Reiner had directed Star Wars:
“Hello. My name is Luke Skywalker. You are my father. Prepare to die.”
What if Alfred Hitchcock Directed a Mack Sennett Short. You would see the pie…The sinister man holding the pie then the victim going about their daily life cut back to the pie…menacingly. The victim rounds the corner slowly. Oblivious to the sinister man waiting. Neither are shown together in the same shot.
The victim appears to getting closer. The sinister man gets poised. The victim stops. A stranger across the street looks at them in an odd manner. A dog barks startling the Sinister man making him drop the pie. He looks up seeing the victim come towards him. He scrambles to get the pie together again before the victim passes. The victim gets closer as the sinister man fumbles desperatley dropping the contents twice.
Suddenly before the victim reaches the Sinister man a horn goes off. He turns towards it then turns back and without warning gets the pie to the face.
What if David Lynch had directed Back to the Future?
The movie opens in Doc’s lab, where we see walls full of ticking clocks. This goes on for two hours.
