What if <movie> had been directed by someone else?

This thread got me a thinkin’, what if you favorite movie had been directed by someone else?

The Wizard Of Oz, by Stanley Kubrick: After Mrs. Gulch died in the horrible dog mauling incident, Dorothy goes on a bizarre drug-induced voyage to a strange netherworld. After being brutally raped by psychotic lust filled munchkins, she meets up with an android, a hippie and a psychoanalyst to have a forum with the giant floating fetus that rules Oz. Then she comes off her high, feels awful and gets executed for the murder of Gulch in a vulgar display of the local authorities’ power.
Breakfast At Tiffany’s by Michael Bay: On the run from her abusive, mobbed up ex husband and undercover as a call girl, Lulamae Barnes teams up with secret agent/writer Paul Varjak in New York. After receiving instructions from the wise elder, in Sing Sing on trumped up charges, they begin a lrace for their lives as Doc Golightly systematically blows up Manhattan, one block at a time, in the hopes of killing them both.
