Tonight, NBC, 8 Eastern, 7 Central.
Thanks for the notice!
Not the best thing the Muppets have done, but pretty good with some funny moments. Paul Williams’s original songs were very catchy.
I thought it was contrived BS. Nothing about it was interesting or unexpected. As a classic Christmass special it gets an F. There were a few nice moments. I think it was Beakers best gig ever. Honeydew was pretty good as well. All the interesting character left early in the show. Swedish chef had a few predictable parts.
Who the hell is that shrimp?
I liked Bunson Honeydew’s explanation of why Santa isn’t online.
He’s a King Prawn, okayyyyyy? Pepe.
What? I thought it was awesome! Obviously it was no Muppet Movie, and the songs were kind of meh, but there were still some really cool Muppet gags (“Oh, Joy!”, Beaker’s wish, etc) and it was great to see all “classic” Muppets.
I thought it was much better than the new Sesame Street Christmas special from last year.
The “shrimp” was Pepe and he’s a king prawn. He’s pretty funny you just have to listen hard to catch his one-liners. He’s been part of the core gang since Muppets From Space.
“I’d better not see you around here again or you’re gonna sleep with the fishes.”
“Oh, I already do.”
I missed it. Is it going to be re-run this season?
